Long before helming such big-budget hits as West Side Story, The Sound of Music, and Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Robert Wise directed two of the best entries from Val Lewton�??s RKO horror series of the 1940�??s: The Curse of the Cat People (1943) and The Body Snatcher (1945).
