Ventura County Nursing Homes Targeted in Suit brought by Local Attorneys Jody C. Moore and Gregory L. Johnson. The suit contends that residents of nursing homes are being given anti-psychotic and other psychoactive medications without consent. AARP Foundation Litigation joined the lawsuit to raise awareness of the unnecessary use of chemical restraints and hold nursing homes accountable to standards set by the California Patient Bill of Rights.
